Allie Turner

OWNER | DVM, CVA, CCRT, CVMMP

Dr. Allie Turner is the founder and owner of Veterinary Acupuncture Services. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After several years practicing traditional Western veterinary medicine with both equine and small animal patients throughout the Bay Area, she began exploring complementary modalities that would enhance healing and long-term wellness.

In 2016, Dr. Allie completed her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine through Chi University in Reddick, Florida, earning her CVA (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist). She went on to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) in 2019 through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Most recently, in 2023, she became certified in Veterinary Medical Manipulation through both Chi University and the Integrative Veterinary Medicine Institute, earning her CVMMP. This advanced training allows her to offer chiropractic care alongside her acupuncture and rehabilitation services.

Dr. Allie is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that blends Western medicine with integrative methods. Her services include acupuncture, Chinese herbal consultations, spinal manipulation, and canine rehabilitation therapy—all focused on improving comfort, mobility, and quality of life.

Dr. Allie grew up in San Gregorio, riding horses and competing in Hunter/Jumper shows. That early bond with animals led naturally to her career in veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys riding her young horse Levi, fishing, spending time outdoors with her dog Sis, and soaking up the beauty of the coast.

Many clients will remember her beloved dog, Finn, who was diagnosed with bone cancer at just 1.5 years old. After becoming a tripod, he lived an additional two incredible years, full of love, adventure, and resilience. Finn’s journey continues to inspire the heart-centered care Dr. Allie brings to every patient.
